Which ports and servers does FixMe.IT use?

Ports

FixMe.IT is designed to easily connect to remote computers without the need to perform any special firewall configurations. An outbound connection is established using TCP Port 443 (HTTPS). This is a default port which is available for secure internet browsing, and is normally not blocked by firewalls.

Servers

In some special cases, such as working in corporate environments with strict security policies, a firewall may need to be configured in order to allow access to FixMe.IT's servers. A summary of all FixMe.IT servers is provided by opening the fixme.it/test page in your web browser.

Since the specific IP address ranges are subject to change, we are unable to provide a list of our server IPs. Instead we highly recommend enabling access to the following resources:

  • fixme.it domain
  • all subdomains of the *.techinline.net domain
