Is FixMe.IT FIPS 140 certified?

FixMe.IT is FIPS-compliant but not FIPS-certified. FixMe.IT's communication service handles traffic between the session participants (Expert and Client) via the FixMe.IT server. All traffic is automatically encrypted with TLS 1.2 transport security and 256-AES block encryption provided by Microsoft. These particular implementations of the AES-256 algorithm are FIPS-compliant and more information is available in Microsoft's documentation concerning FIPS-140 Validation.

FixMe.IT does not provide/manufacture any cryptographic products or components. Therefore, FixMe.IT itself cannot apply to receive a FIPS-140 security level rating or certificate.
