FixMe.IT doesn't include a feature that is commonly known as Session Transfer. However, there is an easy workaround that allows inviting another technician to an active support session.
Multiple FixMe.IT seats are required to use this workaround.
- Connect to the remote user by starting a new session.
- Run the Remote Desktop Control operation.
- Run the FixMe.IT Client app on the remote computer to obtain a new Client ID.
- Pass it along to the other technician looking to connect to the same remote computer.
This workaround allows both technicians to be connected to the same machine and view its screen at the same time. However, you will have to take turns in controlling the remote desktop to avoid disruption.
