I get stuck on “Connecting” message when trying to connect to an unattended computer
Problem
When trying to connect to an unattended computer, I’m displayed a “Connecting to a remote computer…” message but the connection doesn’t get established.
Cause
The described problem occurs when the unattended computer doesn’t have access to FixMe.IT’s communication servers listed on fixme.it/test
Solution
Reset Internet Explorer browser settings on the unattended computer: Run IE → Tools → Internet Options → Advanced → Reset→ Check "Delete Personal Settings" checkbox and click Reset
If an IE settings reset doesn't help, consult with the remote computer's network administrator so they can enable access on the unattended computer to all FixMe.IT servers listed on fixme.it/test
