The remote computer freezes after starting a remote session

Problem

The remote computer freezes during a remote session or immediately after starting the remote session. 

Cause

The technical design of the FixMe.IT application cannot cause a remote computer to freeze. The described issue usually indicates that the computer is infected with malware such as viruses or trojans, which cause it to freeze.

Solution

We recommend running a malware or antivirus scan using multiple available anti-malware or antivirus software to remove any existing security threats from the computer.
