Unable to run the Expert application

Problem

You may encounter one of the following issues when trying to run the Expert application:

  • The application doesn't start
  • The Windows hourglass briefly flashes and disappears

Cause

These issues may occur when:

  • The Windows Installer database was corrupted during a previous uncompleted Installation or Uninstallation procedure.
  • Your computer registry is corrupted and/or cluttered.

Solution

To resolve this issue, you need to do the following:

  1. Uninstall all existing FixMe.IT Expert files from your computer using a cleanup component. In order to do this, download and run FixmeitExpertRemover.exe with administrator rights.
  2. Download and install the Expert application using the following Windows Installer package (FixMeitExpert.msi): https://fixme.it/TechinlineExpert.msi
